8 студзеня стартаваў конкурс Games Industry Law Summit: Legal Challenge 2019, у рамках якога студэнты, а таксама маладыя выпускнікі могуць паспрабаваць свае сілы ў пытаннях юрыдычнай абароны відэагульняў.
Legal Challenge 2019 — юрыдычны конкурс у форме навучальнага судовага працэсу. Асноўная мэта конкурсу — распаўсюдзіць веды аб хуткарослай гульнявой індустрыі сярод студэнтаў і выпускнікоў і, як следства, спрыяць даследаванням ў пытаннях, актуальных для гульнявой індустрыі. Праблема конкурсу прысвечана прымяненню «bestsellerclause» у дагаворах з аўтарамі твораў, пакладзеных у аснову відэагульняў.
Фіналісты конкурсу будуць запрошаны прыняць удзел у Games Industry Law Summit — штогадовым саміце юрыстаў гульнявой індустрыі, які адбудзецца ў Вільні 2—3 мая 2019 года. На саміце будуць прысутнічаць прафесіяналы з гульнявой індустрыі з 30 юрысдыкцый.

We are pleased to announce launch of Games Industry Law Summit: Legal Challenge 2019 which gives a unique opportunity for students and postgraduates to practice their games law skills.
Legal Challenge 2019 is a moot court competition. Its primary goal is to spread the knowledge about rapid-growing game industry among law students and young professionals and, this way, to foster research in the areas relevant for the industry. This year case addresses issues of appropriate remuneration for authors and raises problems around application of bestseller clause.
The finalists of the competition will be cordially invited to take part in Games Industry Law Summit during which oral rounds will take place.Games Industry Law Summit is an annual gathering of game industry legal professionals from all over the world. The 5th edition of Games Industry Law Summit will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania, on May 2—3, 2019, and will feature legal practitioners from 30 jurisdictions.
