Sergey Lashkevich

Born in 1978 in the village of Glebkovichi, Minsk region, Minsk region. In 1995 he graduated from the Mstizh secondary school in the Borisovsky district of the Minsk region. In 1995–1996 worked at the Mstizh secondary school as a laboratory assistant. In 1996–2002 student of the Department of International Relations of the Faculty of International Relations of Belarusian State University. From 2002 to 2005 he was a post-graduate student of the Department of International Relations of Belarusian State University. In 2005–2009 teacher, st. Lecturer in the Department of General Scientific Disciplines of the Faculty of Humanities of the Belarusian State University. Since 2009 he has been working at the Department of International Relations of Belarusian State University. In 2015, he successfully defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Historical Sciences in the specialty "07.00.15 - History of International Relations and Foreign Policy" on the topic "The Diplomatic Vyalikaga of the Principality of Lithuania va ўzaemaadnosіnah Rechy Paspalіtai and Russian Dzyarzhava (1586–1598)" . In 2015, he was elected by competition for the position of associate professor. At the same time, he is the deputy head of the department for ideological and educational work. Speaks German and Czech.
At the Department of International Relations, he gives lectures in the disciplines: "Regional subsystems" and "History of the foreign policy of Belarus." Author of more than 50 scientific papers on the history of foreign policy and diplomacy of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in the second half of the 16th century, as well as foreign policy and diplomacy of Belarus in the 20th - early 21st centuries.
During his work at BSU, he repeatedly improved his qualifications on the basis of the RIVSH and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. In 2006–2007 took 3rd place in the annual BSU competition "The Best Curator of the Year". In 2015, for many years of fruitful scientific and pedagogical activity in the preparation of highly qualified specialists, he was awarded the gratitude of the Belarusian State University.
