In 1982  graduated with honors from the Minsk State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages (now the Minsk Linguistic University). She speaks Spanish, Portuguese and German. In 1983-1984  worked as a translator at the USSR Embassy in the Republic of Cabo Verde. Since 1999, has been working at the Department of Romance and Germanic Languages of the Professional Activity of the Faculty of International Relations of the Belarusian State University. She is the author of several manuals on the Portuguese language. Before its closure, actively collaborated with the magazine "World Literature", where she was engaged in the selection and translation of works by Portuguese and Brazilian authors, as well as literary criticism. Has 7 publications in this magazine. Notarized translator of the Portuguese language of the Chamber of Commerce and
Industry of the Republic of Belarus.
In 2023, by Decree of the President of Brazil, she was awarded the Order of Rio Branco with the award of the degree of Commander for many years of fruitful work in training international specialists for the development of relations between Brazil and Belarus.
