Alena Prykhodzka

In 2020 graduated with honors from the Faculty of International Relations with a degree in International Law, majoring in International Public Law. From 2020 to 2021 was receiving the LL.M. on the Faculty of International Relations (Belarusian State University), majoring in Jurisprudence.

Speaks English (fluently) and German.

Internships and Trainings:

• In 2019 and 2020 completed an internship at the Main Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus;
• In 2018 took part in the Seminar for young diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus;
• In 2018 took part in the I Summer School on Refugee Law, organized by the UNHCR Office in the Republic of Belarus in Minsk.

Fields of research interest — international public law, human rights law, international environmental law, international humanitarian law.

Social and professional activities:

• In 2020 was a member of the team of the Jean Pictet competition on International Humanitarian Law;
• In 2019 took part in the competition in international law named after Philip Jessup, became the 2nd best speaker in Belarus, at the international rounds the team qualified for 1/16;
• In 2018 participated in the international criminal law competition «Nuremberg Moot Court».

Member of the Public Association «Society of International Law».
