Brief information

Graduated from BSU (the Faculty of History). Worked in secondary school, National Academy of Science of Belarus, Academy of Public Administration under the Aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Institute of Border Service of the Republic of Belarus. Served in the customs authorities of the Republic of Belarus.

Authored several monographs and manuals on customs issues, about 200 scientific and popular-scientific publications on the history of national and foreign customs services and customs policy, history of customs law, Belarusian military history, the history of border service and border policy of Belarus, historiography, heraldry issues, specialists training in the sphere of customs affairs and logistics. Author of the Belarusian Customs Service and Border Service Museums Concept.
Member of the Public Advisory Committee in the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus. Member of editorial board of "Customs Bulletin, editor-in-chief of of annual scientific collections of the Department of Customs Affairs "The Department of Customs Affairs Proceedings" and "International Logistics and Customs Affairs".

Member of the Belarusian Republican Union of Lawyers. Professor of the Department of Customs Science in the Academy of Military Sciences of Russia.

Was awarded Medals by the Ministry of Defence and Customs Services of the Republic of Belarus, Decoration "Border Troops of the Republic of Belarus Expert" and Decoration of the Customs Service of the Republic of Belarus "For Distinguished Service", and other decorations and Certificates of Merit.

Scientific interests: history and current activities of national and foreign customs and border services, customs and border policy, the problems of combating transnational crime; military and customs heraldry issues.
