Maria Arsentsyeva

After graduating from the Minsk State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages in 1986, she worked as a teacher of German and a methodologist at the city Institute for Advanced Training of Teachers. In 1998, she entered the postgraduate course at the National Institute of Education, from which she graduated in 2001. In 2002 she defended her Ph.D. thesis. She is the author of numerous research works on comparative pedagogy and foreign language teaching methodology. Since 1999 she has been working as a teacher at the Chair of German Linguistics of the Philological faculty of Belarusian State University. Since February 17, 2007 to February 1, 2022. - Since February 17, 2007 and since February 1, 2022 she has been the head of the Chair of Germanic languages in the faculty of international relations.

At the present time she is the Head of Department of Romano-Germanic Languages for International Professional Activities.
