The Department of Eurasian Studies of the Faculty of International Relations, established on October 1, 2021 (Order of the Rector of BSU No. 519-OD dated September 30, 2021), is a structural subdivision responsible for educational, research, and methodological work. Today, the Department has highly qualified lecturers, faculty members with backgrounds in history, law, and economics.. The staff of the Department has practical professional experience in enterprises, organisations and ministries, judicial and legislative bodies and universities. Within their competencies, they serve as experts in the work of national legislative bodies, public advisory councils and organizations, and international integration institutions. At the first stage of higher education, the department provides training in the following specialties within the Faculty of International Relations: International Law; International Relations, Global Economy, Customs, Asian Studies, and International Logistics. The department provides training in the second-cycle (Master's) program at the Faculty of International Relations in the specialties of Jurisprudence and Global Economy. In 2023, the department launched a pilot project, "A Joint Educational Program for Second-Current Undergraduate Students in the "Public Administration in International Economic Cooperation" major, 7-06-0311-02 Global Economy (BSU), and the "Project Management in the EAEU" major, 38.04.04 Public and Municipal Administration (BelSU)." This is a full-time, two-year program. Upon completion, two diplomas are awarded: one from BSU and one from BelSU (Russia) (Belarusian and Russian).
