Science and research work is one of the priorities in the work of the Department of Customs Affairs. Professors and lecturers of the Department conduct research on the topic: “Customs regulation in the Eurasian economic Union: modernity and prospects”. The sphere of scientific interests of the Department also includes issues of customs policy, customs law, history and modern activity of domestic and foreign customs services, customs heraldry. The problems of training specialists in the sphere of customs, international logistics are studied. Lecturers of the Department are authors of more than 800 scientific publications, including monographs, textbooks, articles in Belarusian and foreign scientific journals. The Department of Customs Affairs annually organizes the international scientific conference "Management in the sphere of customs". The Customs Department maintains scientific relations with the National Academy of Science of Belarus, the Belarusian National Technical University, the Belarusian State University of Transport, Yanka Kupala State University in Grodno, the Belarusian State Economic University and other universities and research institutions. Common research with universities of Russia, Lithuania and Ukraine is conducted and shared. Coordinator of science and research work of the Department of Customs is senior lecturer Yastreb Tatiana.
