Foreign Language teaching: Cross-cultural communication, Grammar, Oral speech practice, Business for specific purpose.

Education Background

1967–1972 – Linguist, Teacher of the English and French languages and literature

Minsk State Linguistic University, Minsk (Belarus).

1973 – 2012: teacher of English at the Belarusian State Pedagogical University.

1988 – Defended thesis on "Synonymy of prosodic structures of English affirmative statements".

1993 - Associate Professor at the Belarusian State Pedagogical University.

Further Education and Training

08.12.1996 – 05.1997 – won the IREX grant for a scholarship to conduct research at Fordham University, New York, NY, USA, which I completed successfully.

Since 1996 – 2009 on numerous occasions travelled abroad as a head-interpreter with a group of children for recuperation to the UK, Italy, Canada, Ireland.

Present Work Experience

2012 - present: Associate professor, Belarusian State University, Faculty of International Relations, Department of English for Economics.

Other Activities

Take an active part in social and sport life of the university, Master of sports of the USSR,

ex-champion and record-holder of the Republic of Belarus in swimming.

Awards

Many times have been awarded for public and sport activity.

1998 – Awarded the diploma of the Ministry of Education for active participation in the department formation and development.

1999 – Awarded with the badge "Outstanding teacher of education of the Republic of Belarus"

2002 – Awarded honorary certificate of the University.
